Places that aren't there anymore

This first bit is for the folks who only read me on Dreamwidth--Scans Daily is moving into the neighborhood.

Speaking of that community, I've been posting to it lately; check the archives to see what's up.

And in researching for the most recent post, I discovered that RAF Upper Heyford, the air base I was stationed at in England with the Air Force, is decommissioned and being used to store Audis. Guess I won't be putting that on my list of places to go back to visit.
