Goodreads Recommends--the 1930s!
One more for the road, shall we? This time we look at what Goodreads recommends to me based on my "published in the 1930s" shelf.
The major history things in the 1930s were the Great Depression and the first stirrings of World War Two in Europe and East Asia. It was the Golden Age of pulps, especially the character pulps and science fiction. Also, some really good children's books started in this decade.
