skjamHi folks! As promised to the folks on http://www.tvtropes.org here's a look at the "TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life" panel at Anime Detour 2011.
I have to say that the Minneapolis tropers are a lot shyer than the Chicago ones, so only the panelists and one other person agreed to be photographed. Bummer.
The Bloomington Sheraton, soon to the the Bloomington Doubletree, site of many fine conventions over the years.
Left to right: Jordan, J.T. and Sara. I don't know if it's clear enough in this shot, but J.T. is wearing a Homestuck costume. Just off camera to the left is Jordan's sister, who ran the projector.

The panel itself was just introducing the concept of TV Tropes to the one person who'd not heard of it before, and then sharing favorite tropes.
Hope to see more tropers next time! Anyone coming to ConVergence?
